Projects: This week students will work on their human body posters centered around one of the 6 body systems we are studying.
7th Grade Reading: We will continue working on building reading and writing stamina through read to self and reading response journals. Also, students will learn differences between northern and southern economies during the Antebellum Era.
Writing: Students will write an informative essay about the Electoral College process. They will complete informal outlines and rough drafts this week. Every student will conference with me as they move through the writing process.
8th Grade Reading: Students will learn about technological advances during the period of early farming through the reading of informational text passages. They will also continue to build reading and writing stamina through read to self.
Homework:
Both 7th and 8th graders should watch the Week in Rap for this week and read the stories that are tied to each link. There will be a quiz on Thursday.
